A Message From Our President
As we kick off another fall of Urban League Young Professional networking and volunteering events, enlightening conversations and creating professional training opportunities, it's important to take a moment to recognize the lives lost. From the victims of the devastating natural disasters in Houston and Puerto Rico, to the gun violence that erupted in Las Vegas, the last couple months have been deadly on various fronts. As true humanitarians, we urban leaguers will always recognize the human toll, and we will embrace supporting those in need. In this sense, we will always serve as a group providing refuge, a safe space, for all humans and we will continue to work towards best solutions, utilizing our platform to that end.
Moving forward, we want to extend and invation to all of those who would like to join us in progressive conversation, volunteerism, and dare i say; a little fun. Please check out our upcoming events and get in contact with one of our chairs to learn more about our movement, to become a member, or just to be in attendance. I look forward to seeing you all!
