ABOUT ANTOINETTE EDWARDS

Antoinette served as the first Diversity and Volunteer Services director for the Oregon Trail Chapter for the American Red Cross. She has a bachelor’s in education from Portland State University. She joined Mayor Hales’ staff from former Mayor Sam Adams’ administration. Among her proudest accomplishments: Receiving the 2009 Gladys McCoy Citizen Involvement Award, and receiving the 2013 Social Justice Fund Northwest's Jeanette Rankin Award for being a tireless, lifelong activist. Other honors include the 2015 Equity Foundation "Women Who Lead" award, and the 2012 Big Brothers and Big Sisters Northwest Organization "Community Impact" award.
